Silver Soldered triple plated silver butter plate for Cafe Savarin made by silver smith Joseph Heinrichs
Paris/New York (established in c. 1897 until c. 1925) providing high quality wares to Tiffanys and high cliental. This piece was made after the fire 1915- 1925
Cafe Savarin established in 1888 was in  "The Equitable Life Assurance Building which was the headquarters for The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. The building,  described as fireproof, was destroyed by a massive fire on January 9th 1912. Extremely cold weather caused the water from the fire trucks to freeze on the building."
